Principal Manager, Data Science (Hybrid – Illinois)
Summary: Seeking a strategic data science leader to drive advanced analytics initiatives, manage a high-performing team, and deliver business insights through machine learning, optimization, and segmentation.
Responsibilities: Lead the design and execution of analytical strategies to address complex business problems and monitor key performance indicators. Manage, coach, and grow a team of data scientists and analysts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and talent development.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Preferred master’s degree in a quantitative field and prior experience in consumer lending, credit risk, or fraud analytics. Minimum 7 years in data science or related fields, with at least 2 years of people management experience. Strong leadership track record in solving complex business problems with data-driven solutions.
Technical Skills: Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, experimentation, and advanced analytics. Proficiency in developing performance measurement frameworks, presenting insights to stakeholders, and implementing scalable solutions.
